Nicholas A. Lakin
Nicholas is zealous in his love for Truth. He has a passion for teaching truths and leading others to discover them. He believes all truths are objective realities and ontologically rooted in the existence of God (cf. John 14:6, 1John 5:6), and someday, every truth will be made clear to disciples of Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 13:12).
However, truth is currently understood by Christians differently. As a result, there are numerous theological and political divisions within the Church. In light of these differences and to the extent possible in ministry, believers should embody doctrinal graciousness for the sake of Christian unity when interacting with others who hold plausibly true Christian beliefs (Ephesians 4:3). Nevertheless, due to the objective nature of truth itself, some beliefs are more accurate than others. Therefore, knowing those who propagate their own beliefs will be judged with greater scrutiny (James 3:1), Christian leaders should thoroughly research and extensively explain whatever they teach as being the most probable Christian belief about any subject (2Timothy 2:15).
Nicholas writes, speaks, and lives in accordance with this truism.
